First Impressions of Safari for Windows

I immediately downloaded and installed Safari 3 public beta for windows after reading the article at News.com. The first thing that struck me was the increased screen space available for browsing. I like the way it reduced the typical browser elements. The first thing I wanted to change was the proxy server settings. It was disabled in this version. I wanted to disable the font smoothing as it was giving me a headache. Sadly, the you can only select Light, Medium or Strong. What happened to Off? I tried out all 3 but could not find an acceptable option. I'm going back to Firefox after this post because my head is aching. Hopefully the next version of Safari corrects these options and I can continue trying out Safari.
